Ted Todd – Residential Flooring in Wilmslow

This project involved replacement of the property’s current parquet flooring in Wilmslow, Cheshire, due to water damage.

We began removing the doors, skirting and architraves which were also to be replaced and to match the new flooring.  The old flooring was lifted and removed. We assessed the sub-floor and opted to use F-Ball’s Stopgap F77 High Performance Waterproof Surface Membrane throughout the lower level of the property. Subsequent to the installation of the membrane the the sub floor was ready to be levelled using F-Ball’s  Stopgap 700 Superflex (flexible, fibre-reinforced self-smoothing underlayment) to prepare for the installation of new floor covering.

We advised on a modern engineered European wood plank floor, Twinhills by Ted Todd (20 x 160 x 2200mm) with solid oak doors by XL joinery and oak skirting and architraves. The wood work was finished with Polyx Osmo Oil.
